Paint.NET is a proprietary free digital imaging software for computers that run on Microsoft Windows. It was developed on the .NET Framework using C# with some C++ code. The program is comparable to other digital photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Corel Paint Shop Pro,MS Photo Editor, and the GIMP.

It features support for layers, special effects, unlimited undo, and other useful and powerful tools. Paint.NET also supports plugins, which add image adjustments, effects, and support for additional file types. Hundreds of plugins that supports Pain.NET have already been produced.

This software's UI is simple but very functional. You can normalize MP3 files quickly and accurately because it uses a statistical analysis algorithm to adjust the volume of your MP3 files.

This Freeware is highly recommended for MP3 volume normalization.

There is also a version for MAC computers and an AAC volume normalizer.

I have been using MediaCoder since 2006. I always use this free software to convert MP4 files into DivX AVI format. Its range of file conversion formats are impressive. Format conversion is fast and the output is good. You can also reduce the size of a media file thru tweaking some settings. You can also convert MP3 files to the smaller mobile phone supported AAC files.

Overall, MediaCoder is a good application for audio/video format conversions and I highly recommend its use.
